Fantastic tea, almost perfect!

I was looking for some new tea and stumbled on Mizuba. So glad I did! The Gyokuro is absolutely divine, a real treat. My only tiny gripe is that I wish there was a bit more variety in their ceramic tea cups, but honestly, it's a minor thing. I'll definitely be back for more tea and recommending them to all my friends!

Detailed review of my Mizuba order

I placed an order for the Matcha Starter Set along with an extra bag of Nagomi Matcha last Tuesday. The ordering process on their website was straightforward and the payment went through without a hitch. I received a confirmation email almost immediately. Shipping took about 4 business days to reach me in Seattle, which is reasonable. Everything was well-packaged; the matcha tins were sealed and protected, and the whisk and scoop were in perfect condition. The quality of the Nagomi Matcha is excellent – very vibrant green and a smooth, umami flavor. The starter set included a nice bowl and whisk, making it easy to get started right away. No issues with customer support as I didn't need to contact them.

Consistently good quality and service

This isn't my first time ordering from Mizuba Tea. I've bought their Yorokobi Matcha a few times now, and this latest order was just as consistent as the others. The matcha always arrives fresh, and the shipping is reliably quick, usually takes 4-5 days to get to me in Texas. It's why I keep coming back; I know what to expect and they always deliver. No surprises, which is what I want.

Good matcha, arrived quick

I ordered some Daily Matcha the other week cause I ran out, and it got here pretty fast, like 3 days to my place in California. It tastes really good, super smooth. Definitely glad I got it, makes my mornings better.

Good product, minor shipping delay

I recently ordered the Matcha Tasting Trio to try some different kinds. The matcha itself is excellent; each one had distinct notes and was very enjoyable to prepare. The overall shopping experience was good. However, the package took 6 days to reach me in Florida, which was a little longer than I expected based on other online orders I've placed. It wasn't a huge deal, but something to note. Packaging was secure and the items were well-protected. Happy with the product, just wish shipping was a touch faster sometimes.

Got a good deal on my first purchase

I was looking for some good quality matcha but didn't want to overspend. Mizuba Tea popped up and I saw they had a first-order discount. I signed up for their newsletter and got 10% off my purchase of Culinary Organic Matcha. Shipping was free because my order was over 75 bucks, which was a nice bonus. It felt like a really good value for what I paid. Happy with the savings and the matcha itself is fine for my lattes.

Hey guys, planning to order some matcha for the first time from Mizuba. How long does shipping usually take to California?

C Cody 2 months ago
I'm in SoCal, usually get my order in about 3-5 days, pretty quick for me.

Yeah, I think it's usually less than a week for most of the US. Got my last one in 4 days up in NorCal.

Wondering if anyone knows if Mizuba has like, a discount for your first purchase? Trying to save a few bucks.

Quick question about their matcha, is it actually sourced straight from Japan or is it just branded that way?

C Colin Hughes 2 months ago
Nah, it's legit. They talk a lot about direct trade from Uji, Japan, on their site. My last batch was amazing.

Definitely authentic. I've bought from them for years and the quality is always top-notch, tastes exactly like what I've had in Japan.

Is it possible to get free shipping? Or do I always have to pay for it?

L Laura Foster 3 months ago
Yeah, if your order is over $75, shipping is free. That's usually how I do it.

Just hit the $75 mark, it's pretty easy to do if you're buying a few things or a larger tin. Saves a few bucks.

Hey, thinking about the subscription for daily matcha. Is the discount worthwhile?

B Beth 2 months ago
Yeah, it's usually 10% off recurring orders. If you drink it often, it adds up.

I get the subscription, totally worth it if you go through a bag a month. Plus you don't have to remember to reorder.
